Experience
Chris brings 20 years of commercial, television, theater and improv acting and performance experience into the booth for your voice over project. When it comes to training, he has sought out the best… Gary Giambo, Nancy Wolfson, Lesley Kahn, iO West, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Deyan Institute of Voice Artistry. He also has professional experience working with a wide variety of businesses and industries including tech, accounting, media, telecommunications, food service, management, and retail.
Chris has taught improv, acting, ballroom dance, and driving. For corporate, educational, interactive or training media, his experience as a teacher can help communicate technical, complex, or dense material to reach your listeners.
Improv
Chris founded a successful improv performance and training company in Atlanta and has performed for years at theaters around Atlanta, iO West in Los Angeles, Upright Citizens Brigade in LA, the Actors Theatre of Louisville, and the Chicago Improv Festival. This wealth of improv experience means Chris can quickly adapt to changing performance requirements, incorporate direction efficiently, and discover new moments in the material.
Reading, Football and the Unexpected
Chris loves to read, and lucky for him, his kids enjoy his reading. They don’t always appreciate it when the various characters from books they’ve read show up at their school functions or to dispense sage (or silly) wisdom in a trying moment. But a dad’s gotta “dad.” He also loves college football. A lot. And he makes sure to watch the games with the alumni so he doesn’t scare his kids.
And mostly, Chris loves the unexpected. Some of his past co-stars have been lions, live turkeys, famous cartoon characters and dummies. So let’s say your technology “explainer” voice over project requires the use of a wild animal in the sound booth with him… well… that would certainly be unexpected!
